The Varsity College Marine Surfski Series has been a huge success in Durban over the last couple months.
Last Friday evening the Nisbet brothers (Luke and Adam) cleaned up the doubles section of the race to take their first win of the series in a Custom Kayaks Apex 2. A great achievement for these very talented lifesaving competitors. They are loving the extra stability and manoeuvrability of the Apex 2. Watch out for them at the SA lifesaving champs next week in CT. They are looking lean and mean!
Mark Mulder took a very well deserved 2nd place in the singles in his Custom Kayaks Bullet. Considering he has just come off non-stop this was amazing. Mark is currently lying 2nd in the series with 1 race to go.
Jenna ward also took the juniors in her Custom kayaks Bullet. Jenna is an up and coming surfski star in the making and will most likely get in the top 3 in the ladies for the series if she gets a good result at the last race this Friday.
